No Pants Subway Ride 2010 and No Pants Day

How could I have not known about the No Pants Subway Ride until I saw it on the television evening news on January 10th 2010? After having seen Ida Siegel of NBC television interviewing a woman as she stood there in her pretty pink panties on a New York City subway, naturally I did a few Google searches and then read in in Wikipedia about No Pants Day and the Annual No Pants Subway Ride being totally separate events. Before I could write a post or attempt to take a crude video of the television set when the story came back on that night Improv Everywhere's No Pants 2010 Reports were already coming into their blog at a good clip. There were participants, observers and news media already posting photographs and videos online. I was delighted to find out later that the the same Pants Off On the Subway was posted on line with embedding enabled:

     I hope to read a lot more accounts, comments and opinions about these public underwear exposure events and all of the various underwear that was on display. There are oodles of blogs, photographs and videos posted by participants, observers and various media. I love it! I cross-posted this on my WordPress blog as well. So what do you think of the 9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride and of No Pants day? What do you think of the various underwear that were on display? Did you participate? Do you think you might participate in next year's event or in the No Pants Day in May?

    They did that in Seattle over the weekend. I'm not brave enough to go pantsless though, I'm afraid.

    Will you get more brave as the "no pants" events become more commonplace and get broader participation? Even though the event is meant to bring smiles and laughter, I'm hoping more lingerie aficionados participate in the future so more people can appreciate the beauty lingerie as well.

    Hmmm...I'm not sure. Maybe if some of my friends did it with me.

    Or...maybe I could be subversive and wear a really great girdle, stockings, and heels on the next pantsless day. How's that? ;-)

    I ALWAYS seems to miss out on these no pants days/take pants off in subway type events. Please give me some dates so that next time I'll look out for them. How they work exactly? Walk into the subway THEN take off your pants OR walk into the subway pantsless? I don't think I'm brave enough to go pantsless but I'd sure love to watch it all unfold :)
