Lbloggers Fbloggers OOTD and Review of Elomi Valentina Heart-Print Nylon Briefs

Normally I try to avoid buying panties which don't have enough of a rise to come at least close to the natural waist, but the red heart print on this black size L EL8405 Elomi Valentina Brief was so pretty that I just couldn't resist buying and reviewing them. I decided to style these knickers with an American Rag short-sleeve lace-trim top in the colour '"Yellow Combo" from Macy's in order to provide a nice complementary colour contrast for my lingerie fashion OOTD and review. I purchased the Elomi Valentina heart print nylon briefs from Freshpair. Unfortunately while I was typing this post I noticed that the Elomi Valentina Brief from Freshpair (where I bought them) is currently being shown as no longer available. I do see that there are still a number of other Elomi Panty styles available for purchase there. The Elomi Valentina Brief is also showing as no longer currently available at HerRoom or at Bare Necessities either. You can check out the Latest Collections from Elomi Lingerie here (link to Elomi's site). The delightful pair of red on black heart print Elomi Valentina Briefs I ordered from  Freshpair arrived promptly and I'm very happy to have received them before they were all sold out. It's too bad they're not widely available right now. I think these panties are perfect for Valentine's Day. The Elomi website (link): Elomi Lingerie - beautiful lingerie for the fuller figure.
The yellow blouse I chose to complement and contrast with the Elomi Valentina Brief Panties in my OOTD and review is an American Rag Plus Size Short Sleeve Top with Lace-Trim in Neon Yellow from Macy's.

TRANSCRIPT: "As you can see, the pair of ladies panties that I'm male-modeling and reviewing in this lingerie review video, have a pretty heart print. It's aptly named Elomi's Valentina Brief. The fabric has a wonderful slippery soft feel. Um, they don't come up to the natural waist, but they're a very pretty panty. I've paired it, uh today, with a uh, an American Rag blouse, for, to complete my blouse and panty outfit for this review. This customer lingerie review video is released into the public domain. Please share it everywhere."

You can check out the Latest Collections from Elomi Lingerie here (link to Elomi's site). I like the look of the Elomi Betty Raspberry Brief from the front but they look like the coverage is slightly less than full in back viewing the Elomi Betty Brief on HerRoom's site. The Elomi Amelia Brief in the image at HerRoom appears to have more complete coverage and is high cut but the fabric is listed as a nylon spandex and cotton blend.
As I noted earlier in this post, there are a number of Elomi Panty styles available at Freshpair in addition to many full coverage briefs. I have yet to make an in person appearance to participate in Freshpair's National Underwear Day (which I blogged about in my post titled" National Underwear Day 2013, Lingerie Fashion, Briefs in News and Blogs), or to look into participating in Freshpair's Confidence Project by taking the first step and filling out their secure their secure form. I wonder whether someday I might be seen being interviewed in one of the videos on Freshpair's YouTube Channel. I promised I'd Tweet them @Freshpair on Twitter when I uploaded a new video. It's time to tweet!

Lbloggers Fbloggers OOTD and Review of Maidenform Flexees Shapewear Panty Briefs

At one time Maidenform made and sold a wider selection of classic women's full brief nylon underpants than they do today. Maidenform full brief nylon panties had a very generous full mushroom shaped cotton lined gusset. The large curved rear seam of the gusset rose fairly high. I considered it to be a delightful design feature. The classically tailored vintage Maidenform briefs had some shape and were designed for real women, not toothpick-thin models. You can see how pretty this design feature was in my post titled "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams". These briefs used to come in a variety of colours including a gorgeous vibrant feminine pink. By the time I wrote the post "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams Part 2" Maidenform's Tricot Full briefs were getting harder and harder to come by, the rear seam of the gusset was closer to being straight across, and the colour selection was sparse. Now it seems the only full briefs Maidenform is making are the Flexees Shaper Panties I'm seen modeling and reviewing in this post. Now that Maidenform has been acquired by Hanes Brands I'm hoping the more traditional briefs will regain some attention.

It only occurred to me after I noticed how pretty this pair of Magenta Maidenform Flexees shapewear panties looks on me in the photographs below, that perhaps the title of this post should have been Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams Part 3 and be a sequel to my earlier posts.

My lingerie fashionista blouse and panty outfit of the day: A pair of Maidenform Flexees Weightless Comfort Briefs Style 2564 in "Magenta Me Crazy" from Bare Necessities styled with a Jaclyn Smith Women's Plus Floral Ruffle Top in Brooke Green from Kmart

Quoting from Kmart's webpage about the blouse I styled in this outfit:
"Liven up your look with the energetic style of this women's plus top by Jaclyn Smith. This silky shirt features a floral graphic and flutters with rows of eyelash ruffles, jazzing up any casual outfit with fashionable flair. Short sleeves and a V-neckline make it ideal for showing off your favorite jewelry."

I bought the Jaclyn Smith women's plus floral ruffle top in Brook Green that I styled with these Maidenform Flexees briefs for my blouse and panty OOTD from Kmart and purchased the Flexees Weightless Comfort Brief 2564 in the colour "Magenta Me Crazy" from Bare Necessities.

TRANSCRIPT: "The pair of ladies full brief panties that I'm male-modeling in this customer lingerie review video is a Maidenform Flexees Shape Panty. Um I bought it primarily because of the colour. It's very pretty, and the name made me laugh. It's 'Magenta Me Crazy'. Uh, for this video I've paired this pair of panties with a ruffle blouse, a floral ruffle blouse in green from Jaclyn Smith. Um, this pair of Maidenform Flexees panties is, has laser cut leg holes, the idea being, that it wouldn't leave a panty line. it also has a back seam which gives the initial impression that they're sheer when in fact they're not. They're uh, an opaque panty. Um, the back seam does give some shape to the panty. Uh, to me it feels like they're riding up. I prefer to have uh, an, I prefer to have elastic at the leg holes to help hold them in place and prevent ride-up, um, and I'm not concerned about the panty lines. This customer lingerie review is released into the public domain."

Watching the customer video lingerie review of this pair of Maidenform Flexees shaper panties they appear to fit me much better than I realized when I was making the video review. Perhaps I should have worn them all day long to see whether or not they would actually ride up or whether they might stay put and continue to look pretty. It could have been that I'm just not used to wearing fitted back-seam panties with no elastic at the leg holes. The fabric felt good against my skin and I LOVE the colour!

Those who follow me or read my reviews regularly probably already know that I like having panty lines and the underwear as outerwear look, whereas these briefs seem intended to make it appear like no underwear is being worn at all.

How do you feel about briefs with back seams and forgoing elastic at the leg holes in favour of having no discernible panty lines?

What do you think of the "Magenta Me Crazy" colour of the pair of ladies briefs I'm seen modeling and reviewing here?

Do you like the look of the Jaclyn Smith women's plus floral ruffle top in Brook Green I styled with these shaper panties to complete my outfit of the day?

Are these magenta Maidenform Flexees shaper panty briefs pretty enough that I can keep my male-modeling Maidenform dreams alive?

If you don't already know what my male-modeling Maidenform dreams were you can read about them at the beginning of my earlier posts titled: Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams and Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams Part 2. You can see the earlier customer lingerie review videos of Maidenform briefs embedded in those posts or see them on my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/misterpantybuns/videos.

NOTE: YouTube wrongfully removed the video that went with this post and issued a strike against my YouTube account for it - a blatant example of sex discrimination being practised by YouTube UPDATE: Those blatantly discriminatory actions apparently were not enough for the bigots at YouTube. YouTube subsequently compounded their egregious bias motivated strike and removal of the video that was embedded in this post by REPLACING IT WITH OUTRIGHT LIES ABOUT ME AND ABOUT THE CONTENT OF THE VIDEO POSTED AT THE URL WHERE MY VIDEO HAD BEEN WRONGFULLY REMOVED, claiming: "This video has been removed for violating YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content." As you can see quite clearly from the transcript that accompanied the video (above) and from and from the photographs (also above), YouTube OUTRIGHT LIED, FABRICATING AN EXCUSE FOR THEIR BLATANTLY ILLEGAL SEX DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ME. The REAL reason they removed the video was because one or more bigots on the YouTube team did not like the fact that the gender association of the blouse and full briefs I was reviewing do not match my gender - yet another case of BLATANT and INDEFENSIBLE SEX DISCRIMINATION PRACTISED BY YOUTUBE, compounded by their publishing/ posting bald-faced disparaging lies about me and about the content they wrongfully (and illegally) removed. I suspect that the bigoted YouTube operatives responsible for this abuse of power reasoned that I could not do anything about their hurtful discrimination because of the facts that I do not accept money for anything I post on the internet, and the fact that Google's YouTube has so much more money to spend for lawyers than I do. THEY ARE BIGOTED BULLIES who should by rights have anti-trust actions brought against them. Apparently the management at Google's YouTube feels they have enough money for lawyers and have enough politicians in their pocket that they are not concerned at all when their bigoted employees discriminate with total impunity against minorities at will, and with malice. Please feel free to leave opinions in the comments about my modellling ladies full brief full coverage nylon panties on the internet, but understand that it is my right to do it without being censored. Lbloggers Fbloggers OOTD and Review of Rago Shapewear Panty Brief with Lace

In the customer lingerie video I made to go with this post I expressed my pleasure with this pair of Rago Shapewear panty briefs.  The next time I order some of these briefs, however, I'll follow the recommended sizing for more comfort when wearing them all day long. The pair of Rago Shapewear Panty Briefs I wore with this outfit were WAY too tight - so tight that they don't appear nearly as attractive in the lingerie review video as they otherwise might have looked if I had purchased the correct size for myself.

The Rago Shaper Panty Brief With Lace Style 919, which I purchased from HerRoom, is a true full coverage brief having classic vintage style tailoring. The briefs have 9 1/2 inch side-seams, a 10 inch rise, and a cotton lined gusset. I love the retro styling of these briefs, and the stretch lace insets add a nice feminine touch. To complete my lingerie fashionista (Lbloggers) outfit of the day I paired the Rago Shapewear black lace-trim shaper briefs with a contrasting Elementz Women's Plus-Size Three-Quarter-Sleeve Sequined Eyelash Ruffle Top in Soft Candle Yellow from Macy's.

I took this first photo of the black Rago shapewear brief shortly after making the YouTube video. In retrospect I should have either taken the photos of my different outfits just before I posed in them for the OOTD photos and videotaped lingerie reviews, or else delayed photographing the separate briefs and blouses until after I'd washed them the next day. Unfortunately some of the white body powder I use clung to the stitching around the leg holes of the black panty brief and is visible in the first photo. Oops! Oh well. I'm too lazy to take another photo of them and will simply leave that photo in this post as a blooper-pic.:

The classic design of these panty briefs with their mushroom-shaped gusset is more easily visible is more visible in this photo:

In this next image there appears to be a white tag showing under the hemline of my eyelash ruffle blouse. Another blooper pic.:

I misspoke in this video - the colour of the Elementz ruffle sequin top, which I bought from Macy's and styled in this OOTD, is named "Soft Candle". I happened to buy the Rago Style 919 Shaper Panty Brief from HerRoom but it is available from other retailers as well. It would have showcased the vintage look, and retro-style tailoring of these panty briefs much better had I purchased a larger size.

TRANSCRIPT: "In this customer lingerie review I'm male-modeling a Rago Shapewear black shaper panty brief with lace. I've styled it with a sequined eyelash ruffle blouse by Elementz in the colour Yellow Candle. Uh, this Rago Shaper Panty uh has a nice slippery feel in the front. Um, it's got good control and is very nicely tailored, full cut with a classic style. Um, I deliberately got it a size smaller than I should, uh, to see whether it had enough give, um and, plus I like wearing my panties tight. Um, I'm very happy with them, with this pair of panties. Uh, this customer lingerie review is released into the public domain."

On Rago's website, the fabric of the RAGO Style 919 - Light Shaping Panty Brief is listed as being made of 85% Nylon, 15% invista Lycra. The colours currently listed  on Rago's site are White, Beige, Black, Pink and Red.

Rago makes high waisted shapewear panties as well which have a waist-cinching effect. As you can see in my customer lingerie review video I could use some shaping of my quite out-of-shape waistline.
