As of the time I'm typing this the video has already had 329,000,000 views and 721,000 comments. By contrast my own customer lingerie review videos on YouTube (Mister Panty Bun's Channel) have only had 63,500 views and there have only been a little over 82,400 page views on this blog. I already logged into my Twitter @Panty_Buns and Tweeted a Happy Birthday to @KatyPerry (along with millions of KatyCats).
I was just about to write a post when I noticed that almost all of the approximately 80,000 page views for my blog had disappeared. Apparently it happened within the last day or two. People have been doing entire blog posts on the missing page views and commenters have been worrying whether they'll get their views back. UPDATES A while after my last post titled "Lingerie News: Lady Gaga, Football, PINK, Undie Awards" I discovered that I had overlooked some videos uploaded by Vanity Fair on their Undie Award wining panties and a video that had been by Victoria's Secret PINK featuring their NFL Collection.
There had been, as you might recall, a lot of news regarding the NFL using replacement referees who had been previously fired for incompetence by the Lingerie Football League
Coincidentally, both Victoria's Secret PINK and the Lingerie Football league featured a pink football, as can be seen in this Lingerie Football League clip titled "LFL | CANADA | GREATEST HITS SERIES | GAME 6".
Those look like some really hard hits with insufficient padding in those Lingerie Football League Games. Ouch.

I also noticed that YouTube user Vanity Fair Lingerie had already uploaded a video titled "Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Ravissant Tailored Brief" which I'd wanted to see on YouTube. There was no mention in the video of the brief having won Undie Awards in 2008, 2011, and 2012 since they apparently uploaded the video prior to winning the award yet again.

As I watched these videos it I couldn't help but continue to feel miffed that some of my ten customer lingerie review videos featuring me in the exact same brand and style of Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Lace Nouveau Briefs had been marked with a warning: "This video may contain material flagged by YouTube's user community that may be inappropriate for some users" and requiring people to sign in in to view them. One poorly lighted video of me modeling and reviewing these same briefs had previously disappeared - in it's place was a statement slandering me, saying: "This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content". It was a clear-cut case of sex discrimination and obvious that the real objection was to me being a MAN SEEN WEARING LADIES PANTIES!

Lady Gaga put herself in the news in her panties again. This time she Tweeted four photos of herself wearing just a skimpy pair of yellow knickers and matching bra. As X17 Online put it: Lady Gaga Asks Fans To Join Her "BODY REVOLUTION" Campaign
Zimbio published an article by Alicia Diaz Dennis titled "Lady Gaga Strips Down to Lingerie for 'Body Revolution 2013' ". The article republished photos from LittleMonsters.com, Lady Gaga's social networking site along with a quote from Mother Monster. Quoting the Zimbio article which in turn quoted Lady Gaga: Gaga kicked things off by posting several pictures of herself in a yellow bra and matching panties, with the captions, "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15. But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION. "
A not-so-nice article in "The Twist" which featured the photos of Gaga in her yellow bra and knickers was quite cynical and titled "Lady Gaga is A Show-Off, Lost 25 Pounds in 7 Days" saying "Face it, you shrunk because you’re not as comfortable in your skin as you tell everyone else to be."
InsideEdition.com published a photo along with it's article titled: Game-ending call from #NFL replacement refs sparks uproar Controversial Referee Call Outrages NFL Fans. The article stated that "The replacement refs involved in the controversial touchdown are being linked to the Lingerie League.
It seems that he Lingerie Football League, whose Twitter is @MyLFL, had fired the same crew of Replacement Referees for incompetence prior to their having been hired by the NFL .
The commissioner of the Lingerie Football League was quoted in the LA Times as saying "The entire crew was released due to several poorly called games which included missed calls, poor judgment and poor presentation for broadcast. They were hurting our overall broadcast caliber. And if it's opening up our players for potential injury, those things raise red flags here. When either of those two things are compromised, it's time to start thinking about parting ways."
The LA Times article by Houston Mitchell opens with the line: You know you are in trouble when even the Lingerie Football League is making fun of you.

I missed out on yet another underwear in public event, but this one wasn't very close to where I live so I don't feel as guilty about not participating - just a little embarrassed that I didn't blog something in advance. They had a good turnout and some news articles and videos from the 2012 Utah Undie Run have been published about it despite the relative lack of publicity beforehand.

On the webpage It reads like I could arrive in my Vanity Fair, Maidenform, Warners or Bali full briefs. If I didn't get arrested on the way there I could go buy a pair of knickers at Freshpair and then parade down "Model Alley" in them for the photographers. II wonder if I could parade past the photogs in each different pair I bouht? Since Wacoal is one of National Underwear Day sponsors the Wacoal Awareness Briefs might get me more press coverage, but they do also carry Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau and Vanity Fair Ravissant Briefs which are similar to the pair I'm wearing as I type this.
I'm always prattling about how I'd like to get more famous than Lady Gaga for being seen around the world in ladies panties. In fact, I felt a little jealous of when I saw that there was a nude photo of Lady Gaga featured prominently on a billboard in Times Square. I immediately felt an overwhelming desire for there to be a photo of me male-modeling ladies full brief panties on that billboard.
Arriving at and participating in the Freshpair Event would be a great opportunity to get famous in my panties with live coverage by all kinds of reporters, photographers, print, radio, TV , and paparazzi! The Freshpair site is indicating it's probable there will be television coverage, and I suspect if did I show up in just lingerie with my knickers showing there's a good chance of making the news. How much of a chance would there be of a photo of me in women's knickers being published on the front page of papers like the New York Daily News?
Even though I'll probably chicken out AGAIN, my apparent stage-fright hasn't prevented me from both posting and tweeting the photos of myself in my panties.

I only made lingerie review videos in the white and black pairs even though I purchased them in all four shades. I am longing for these classic briefs to be available in the various feminie colours once more.

It's interesting to compare the shape of the rear seam of the gusset in the video of me in Maidenform Sea foam Green Wise Buys Full Briefs from my prior post "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams" with the rear seam of the gusset in the newer pairs. Not only did the older classic mushroom shaped gussets give more protection and provide a more rounded full cut shape, the seam was more bulky than the newer ones making for a rainbow shaped panty line which I adored! You read that right! I loved having that panty line! I think it's quite sexy and a real turn on. Strange? Not at all! I just absolutely LOVE panties! I love to buy, wear, and be seen in ladies full brief panties. As a woman asked me a long time ago: "What good is it if nobody sees them?" My destiny was sealed then and there. Hopefully, sooner or later, every woman on the planet will see me male-modeling ladies panties everywhere they look.

In the past Maidenform has manufactured these briefs in various colours including a lovely vibrant feminine pink. I would LOVE to own some of those again.
The historic and hugely successful Maidenform "Dream" advertising campaign started in 1949 and has spanned decades. The ads often included headline phrases like "I dreamt I was a star in my Maidenform bra." My own recollection is that there were, at one time, ads that included the line: "The Maidenform Woman. You might see her anywhere."
Later ads (in the 1980's and 1990's) featured women out in public in their panties and included the line "The Maidenform woman. You never know where she'll turn up."
In a lot of ways Maidenform was way ahead of it's time. Two women started the company and it was the first as far as I know to feature women out in public in their underwear. Then came the ever increasing underwear as outerwear trend. It came to the forefront with Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyonce and is being continued by Taylor Momsen and Hannah Montana (Myley Cyrus).
The trend was picked up on by designers who have incorporated sheer gowns into the Underwear as outerwear trend. Here are a few links:

Melinda Clarke as Amanda, division's Inquisitor @TheRealMsClarke on Twitter. Melinda Clarke had previously played the fictional character "Lady Heather", a dominatrix on the TV show CSI. Her character's role has similarities to those of Madeline (Alberta Watson) in the previous series "La Femme Nikita";
Sarah Clarke as Katya Udinov, mother of Alexandra Udinov (both last names should properly be Udinova). In real life Sarah Clarke, who plays Katya Udinov on Nikita, is married to Xander Berkely who plays Percy on the same show;
Xander Berkeley as Percy, an sociopathic manipulative evil homicidal mastermind who carries out vile acts for powers that be and on the side for himself and, in his own rationalizations, for Division.

During the course of watching past Nikita episodes innumerable times I realized that there is more than ample material (a lot of really ludicrous stuff) for one or more feature length spoofs of Nikita. It's too bad Leslie Nielsen isn't still with us. He'd be fantastic as a bumbling Percy.

The renewal of Nikita for Season 3 changes everything. This post will be updated in the future (hopefully soon). I will add some postscripts, may do a new Nikita post or may even start a new blog devoted to Nikita. The writing is already underway.
