This post is mainly about lingerie and full brief panty events, news, videos and blog posts that I FAILED to participate in, FAILED to blog about in a timely fashion, and Failed to do yet. It's not in chronological order but there is a P.S.: "Thank You" at the end.

     Here's a photo of some of the blouses and full briefs I've purchased with the intent of reviewing in blog posts and videos but haven't gotten around to yet followed by a list of some of the brands and styles of the briefs in the photo.

     Two of the blouses I ordered to complement the briefs turned out to be unavailable and the colours of a couple of them turned out to be a bit darker than expected. I's taking longer than I thought to decide which briefs to style with which blouse and vice versa and looking like I might have to buy even more blouses and briefs to get the complementary colour contrasts I'm looking for in my lingerie fashionista outfits.

     I suspect there will be an even bigger backlog of full briefs to review before I get around to doing my next full brief panty fashion outfit and customer lingerie review post. 

     

          

      Here's some lingerie news I meant to mention in blog posts before now but hadn't: 

     

CurveNY February 2013 was covered nicely by The Lingerie Journal (here); 

     

Kudos to Ms Emily McCombs:  

     

       Back at the end on April there was a post by @MsEmilyMcCombs the Executive Editor of xojane.com  which proclaimed in all capital letters "I POST PICTURES OF MYSELF IN MY UNDERWEAR" which, as proclaimed, featured a photo of herself (a selfie) in black full brief panties and a matching bra. The article closed by stating: "I show you mine and welcome you to show me yours. And God willing, I'll continue to avoid the feedback." Unbelievably I never commented or contacted Emily or xojane - but very belatedly, kudos to xojane's Ms Emily McCombs for her bravery. I think the photo she posted of herself is lovely. Since I also post pictures of myself in my underwear it seemed very appropriate to give Ms McCombs an honorable mention and post a link to xojane.com here. 

     

Panty preferences question with photos: 

     

On July 2nd, 2013 there was a Huffington Post  article by Lauren Leibowitz titled: "Pick Your Panties: What Does Your Underwear Say About You?(PHOTOS)" You'd think I would have at least made a comment on that one. The article states that wearing "High-waisted granny panties:" means "You're retro at heart." I loved the photos. 

     

CurveExpo NY, CurveExpo NV and Lingerie Fashion Week in NYC:

     

     Unbelievably it appears that I failed to cover or even make a mention of either the CurveNY International Lingerie Expo on August 4, 5 and 6 which was blogged about by Elizabeth Neal here, and by Ellen Lewis of Lingerie Briefs, here and here. Brands included Fleur of England, Zinke New York, Cake Lingerie, Touche Lingerie, Sokoloff Lingerie, Pretty Polly, Monette, and many many more. According to a report titled: Best of Curve NY 2013 Lingerie And Swimwear Show by the International Press Association and made a YouTube video of the same title (here). There were 282 brands being showcased at the show! CurveNV Las Vegas was on August 19th +20th, 2013.  

     

Lingerie Fashion Week in New York City  

     

Fortunately I got to read a couple of articles or watch videos from some of these lingerie events. LingerieFW - YouTube uploaded some videos from Lingerie Fashion Week in NYC including one titled "Dita Von Teese Introduces Secrets in Lace at LingerieFW SS14". I love the look of the vintage style full coverage panties from Secrets In Lace , the delightful vintage style lingerie, and all the rest of the videos too. The Lingerie Journal, was there covering Lingerie FW SS14, including lingerie brands like Bradelis (YouTube), Lola Haze, Uye Surana, Rococo Dessous, Nais, Nevaeh Intimates, Secrets in Lace, You! Lingerie, NOE Undergarments and Affinitas + Parfait. I wonder how many lingerie fashion shows I've missed out on reading about or viewing this year? I love lingerie!
  

  

The MTV VMAs:
  
Some other news involving underwear that I've been late in blogging about: The dancing?/ twerking at MTV's VMAs by Miley Cyrus wearing a latex bra and panty set (see this photo of Miley in mirror.co.uk). Lady Gaga stripped down to a revealing shell thong bikini (see this photo of Lady Gaga in Mail Online) by the end of her act in the opening song of the night - her song Applause. YouTube user hollywoodbackstage uploaded a video titled "MTV VMA 2013: Miley Cyrus Vs. Lady Gaga -- Performance" which didn't show the seashell thong Lay Gaga eventually stripped down to but did show her wearing a sheer dress over black briefs. Jessica Biel arrived to meet her husband Justin Timberlake for a VMA after party wearing an embroidered sheer dress over black full brief panties - (see this photo of Jessica Biel in Mail Online).
  
September 2013 MYLEY CYRUS UPDATE: According to Billboard Magazine,  "Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" Swings Atop Hot 100"  In the controversial hit  she appears in a pair of classic white panties and a crop-top. Instead of making a new video picked a previously uploaded male modeled customer lingerie review video titled "Mister_Panty_Buns-loves-having-Hanes-Women's-Nylon-Panties-on" from one of my earlier blog posts "Outfit Post and Review: Hanes Her Way Women's Nylon Brief Panties" If I do upload a new introduction video I'll try to take YouTube's advice to make it brief.  

     

Freshpair's National Underwear Day 2013:

     

As Freshpair noted on their website in the weeks leading up to National Underwear Day 2013 noted: On New Years Eve the ball drops in Times Square. On National Underwear Day 2013 come rush hour on Monday August 5th at 5:00 PM the pants drop for 2 1/2 hours in Times Square. Show your confidence and your underpants to help break a Guinness world record on Aug 5, 2013 5-7PM in Times Square on Broadway between 46th + 47th Streets in New York City for National Underwear Day.  The Twitter Finalist will also be announced for the most creative display of underwear confidence from among photos people have Tweeted to @Freshpair  of themselves  out in public in their underwear with the hashtags #NUD2013 and #PDC (public display of confidence).

I wrote in a comment to their video: "So sorry I was missing in action, didn't join in. What a wonderful event and celebration. I had recently purchased some Elomi Valentina briefs and some Tender Bud print Bali Skimp Skamp briefs that would have been perfect for the event. It looked like fun. I have been meaning to write blog and YouTube reviews of some of the briefs from Freshpair and pick up a few more pairs. I hope you do this event again next year and that there is even more media coverage!"" 

     

The Bali Skimp Skamp Brief Brief Panty Style 2633  I had thought of wearing to the Times Square event is quite popular and was HerRoom's 2010 Undie Awards Favorite Overall Panty (YouTube video).

On September 2nd there was an article in the blog Lingerie Talk @LingerieTalk on Twitter) titled: "AP Bites The Hand That Fetes It ". Richard of Lingerie Talk embedded Agent Provocateur's recent racy and controversial video 

"Agent Provocateur: Control Yourself - YouTube" in the post. The Agent Provocateur panties in the video weren't full briefs, but were quite sheer in the back. The video was featured in Mail Online article as well. The video was part of Agent Provocateur's AW 2013 Campaign and stars Melissa George, Chloe Hayward and Elettra Wiedemann and features Autumn Winter 2013 Collection.
    

ANOTHER UPDATE:  More undies in the news at  Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S14:

     The tabloids were abuzz with the news when Paloma Faith put her Burberry lingerie on display at Burberry's Spring/Summenr 2014 fashion show at London Fashion Week. A Mail Online article featured a photo of Paloma Faith dressed to attend the Burberry Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show at London Fashion Week in an article titled: "So cute she just HAD to show them off: Paloma Faith exposes underwear in see-through skirt at Burberry show" included a nice (click here) photo of Paloma Faith showing off her Burberry's heart printed underwear with a totally see-through skirt in Mail Online She had a seat in the front row at the  Burberry fashion show.
    

    
Several YouTube news Channels uploaded the short (1:56) Mail Online video of a briefs portion of an interview with Paloma Faith at the Burberry fashion show at London Fashion Week all having the same video title. Two of them were:

YouTube user Burberry  uploaded a brief video titled The Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S14 Show Highlights - shot entirely with iPhone 5s and on Set. 17th, 2013 uploaded a video titled:  "Full Show - Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S14 - shot entirely with iPhone 5s". The video features a large number of see-through dresses.  Quoting Burberry: "Celebrating rich British fabrics and expert craftsmanship, the Spring/Summer 2014 runway features intricate English lace and Scottish knitted cashmere in vibrant pastels and soft powdery hues". Though I could see Paloma Faith in the front row of the show I didn't see the heart print briefs. I thought many of the Burberry fashions were very pretty and there were some pretty looking full briefs visible through the dresses. The main reservation I had about the show was that I think using too many overly skinny models sends a bad message to young fashionistas and may encourage eating disorders.
    
I found the interview of Paloma Faith by  YouTube user Triumph UK, (makers of Triumph Lingerie) very interesting. It is titled "Women in Making: Paloma Faith - YouTube"
    

     

    

There will be more lingerie events coming up as well. I wonder how many more lingerie and full brief panty events I will have FAILED to participate in, news I lingerie news I will FAIL to cover, videos and photos I will FAIL to take, post and write about in these last four months of the year?    

     

An unpublished lingerie review I did back in January: 

     

     Another blog post I hadn't gotten around to posting included photos and a customer lingerie review video of myself male-modeling a pink pair of Pink K Women's Nylon Briefs from Kmart. I'd taken the photos and video back on 4 January 2013 but I still haven't uploaded the video to my YouTube, Mister Panty Buns's Channel.  My excuse for not uploading the lingerie review video back at the time I made it was that in the video I referred to the panties as Pink brand pink panties. After I'd made the video I saw that they were clearly marked "Pink K" on the tag. Pink K brand is unrelated to Victoria's Secret PINK brand panties, which I have yet to purchase, wear, and review. Good grief! You'd think I would at least get the name of the brand of panties I'm reviewing right when I actually have them on, but noooooo....  I had forgotten what the package said back when I bought them in the store and then I missed the "K" in Pink K when I read the tag. Yes, I actually bought these panties in-store instead of being lazy and buying them on line. The fabric is not as slippery and silky-soft as a couple of other panties I've worn such as Vanity Fair Ravissant or Shadowline classic briefs. but they do feel good against my skin. I'm holding back my complete assessment of the way they feel and fit until I purchase the size that's right for me.

     

To complete my January 4th OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) I styled the Pink K brand pink nylon full briefs with a Green Surplice Peplum top from JCPenney in the colour "Green Appletini".  

     

     

    The last time I checked Kmart's website I didn't see the briefs I reviewed. Here are two of the photos of me male-modeling the Pink K full briefs back on January 4, 2013:

Lingerie News: Lady Gaga, Football, PINK, Undie Awards

Lingerie was in the news a lot this past week and this post barely scratches the surface of it all. My apologies to all the wonderful lingerie retailers who aren't mentioned in this post. I hope to get to everyone eventually. Meanwhile, here's some of the lingerie that made the news:

Lady Gaga's Lingerie, Lingerie Football League, A New Victoria's Secret PINK Store, 2012 Undie Awards :

LADY GAGA made the news in her yellow lingerie

Lady Gaga put herself in the news in her panties again. This time she Tweeted four photos of herself wearing just a skimpy pair of yellow knickers and matching bra. As X17 Online put it: Lady Gaga Asks Fans To Join Her "BODY REVOLUTION" Campaign


Another article with three of the four photos: "Lady Gaga Slams Weight Critics: "I'm Proud At Any Size" | LadyGaGa | News | MTV UK"

Zimbio published an article by Alicia Diaz Dennis titled "Lady Gaga Strips Down to Lingerie for 'Body Revolution 2013' ". The article republished photos from LittleMonsters.com, Lady Gaga's social networking site along with a quote from Mother Monster. Quoting the Zimbio article which in turn quoted Lady Gaga: Gaga kicked things off by posting several pictures of herself in a yellow bra and matching panties, with the captions, "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15. But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION. "

Crushable: "Lady Gaga Posts Underwear Photos And 'Confession' To Make Fans Feel Better About Their Bodies"

The SUN: "Lady Gaga wades into weight gain debate-with snap in her undies"

Some sites, such as Celebrified, ignored the message and simply republished the photos with the headline "Lady Gaga Tweets Bra & Panties Photos"

A not-so-nice article in "The Twist" which featured the photos of Gaga in her yellow bra and knickers was quite cynical and titled "Lady Gaga is A Show-Off, Lost 25 Pounds in 7 Days" saying "Face it, you shrunk because you’re not as comfortable in your skin as you tell everyone else to be."

So is she really going to try to help? I think there are better organizations to contact for help with eating disorders, but Lady Gaga does reach a large audience when she puts her knickers on display. By contrast, the National Eating Disorders, NED Awareness Week and the First UK conference into eating orders in sport on 27 September, 2012 got very little notice. . I seem to recall Eating Order Awareness being encouraged by Laura who writes A Daisy Chain Dream.

I love that Lady Gaga has helped make wearing panties in public fashionable, but being a vegetarian on principal I was very much sickened by her wearing of a meat dress. Gaga does seem, as Madonna does, to thrive on controversy and sometimes she seems seems a bit out of touch - and sometimes fans get caught in the cross-fire. Gaga come out against wearing fur on the Ellen Show and after she Retweeted a poster of herself posing with what appeared to be a wolf carcass for the movie Machete Kills she found herself in PETA's crosshairs . People were being asked to choose between @Peta and @LadyGaga. Some fans of Nikita's MaggieQ who is a staunch PETA supporter were also fans of LadyGaga. Apparently some mean things were said both between PETA and Lady Gaga and also between fans and feelings got hurt. Peta has a lot of celebrity supporters, including Kim Basinger, @Pink, @LyndsyMFonseca, @AngelaSimmons, @AliciaSilv, @bifnaked , @PamelaDAnderson, @BreeOlson, @KatieKModel, @NAPIERMAKEUP, and First Lady Michelle Obama (Sorry from straying off-topic).In other lingerie news:

THE NFL increased the credibility of the LINGERIE FOOTBALL LEAGUE whilst losing some of its own credibility, bringing the LFL (and their YouTube Channel, the Lingerie Football League's Channel) to my attention.

InsideEdition.com published a photo along with it's article titled: Game-ending call from #NFL replacement refs sparks uproar Controversial Referee Call Outrages NFL Fans. The article stated that "The replacement refs involved in the controversial touchdown are being linked to the Lingerie League.

It seems that he Lingerie Football League, whose Twitter is @MyLFL, had fired the same crew of Replacement Referees for incompetence prior to their having been hired by the NFL .

Even Forbes did an article titled Lingerie Football League: We Fired Some Current NFL Replacement Refs Forbes reported that the blown call "...caused a half-billion in betting funds switch hands..."

The commissioner of the Lingerie Football League was quoted in the LA Times as saying "The entire crew was released due to several poorly called games which included missed calls, poor judgment and poor presentation for broadcast. They were hurting our overall broadcast caliber. And if it's opening up our players for potential injury, those things raise red flags here. When either of those two things are compromised, it's time to start thinking about parting ways."

The LA Times article by Houston Mitchell opens with the line: You know you are in trouble when even the Lingerie Football League is making fun of you.

There are more quotes and a look at more of that LFL lingerie in the Lingerie Football League photos in the Daily News article Replacement refs working in NFL were FIRED from Lingerie Football League, LFL commish says; 'The NFL has been exposed' by shoddy scab refs.

The controversy has been cited as a factor in getting the contract negotiation talks between the referees and the NFL to progress swiftly.

As Fox News astated in the first sentence of their article titled: Lingerie League, lawmakers pile on replacement refs "Everyone from lawmakers to lingerie lovers are piling on the NFL"

The lingerie-related coincidences just kept on popping up:

Victoria's Secret "PINK lingerie store opening at Cowboys Stadium Oct 1st

There was an article in the Arizona Daily Star titled NFL: Notebook: Lingerie Football? Shh, Cowboys have a Secret. The timing of the blown call by NFL Replacement Refs and the FRONT PAGE DAILY NEWS STORY featuring the Lingerie Football League couldn't have been better for Victoria's Secret and their plan to open a Victoria's Secret "PINK" Lingerie store at Cowboys Stadium today, October 1st, 2012. The online Victoria's Secret PINK advertisement currently features a photo of a model holding a pink football, wearing (surprise) a Green Bay Packers jersey and advertises the Pink NFL Collection.

Lady Gaga Wins 4 EMAs , is Nominated for 5 People's Choice Awards

I haven't felt up to male-modeling and reviewing the various brands and styles of ladies full brief panties I've purchased in the last few months, so when Lady Gaga, the Queen of Granny Panties won 4 MTV EMAs and was nominated for 5 People's Choice Awards, for me, it seemed like a no-brainer to do a post about Mother Monster instead. Since the title and name of this blog is "Full Brief Panties", and I'm being lazy, I've embedded Lady Gaga's award winning video (along with gratuitous screenshots of her on stage or on set in her panties). It's easier and takes less nerve than does making and posting more videos of myself doing more "Male Models Full Briefs" lingerie reviews on YouTube (like the last one I did 6 months ago titled "PICT_Male_Models-VF_13001-Wine_Red-Full-Briefs-0011.AVI" ) I know I'm way, way tardy doing the promised post sequels "A Briefs Update Part 3" and Part 4 as well as a Post "Male Models Maidenform Dreams, Part 2" but I haven't been up to doing them, so instead here's a post about Lady Gaga:

Lady Gaga : News : Lady Gaga Wins 4 EMAs

Mother Monster won Best Female along with Biggest Fans thanks to all her Little Monsters and her Music Video Lady Gaga - Born This Way won both Best Song and Best Video at the MTV 2011 European Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday, November 7th. Lady Gaga "mooned" the audience in her thong bikini panties near the end of her performance of Marry The Night at the awards show. Her fans no doubt loved the bare bottom photo Lady Gaga posted of herself on Twitter and used for the cover of her award winning BORN THIS WAY. Unfortunately, so far, the videos of Lady Gaga performing MarryTheNight have been met with copyright claims, i.e.: The YouTube video embedded by Lady Gaga News in the article Lady Gaga Steals the Show at the 2011 MTV EMAs was removed due to a copyright claim by Viacom International, Inc.. Her website at Lady Gaga.com stated back on Nov. 6th: "Check back soon for the hi-res performance of "Marry The Night"

At the 2011 EMA's the audience was also treated to the live performance of Lady Gaga - The Edge of Glory which features Lady gaga out in public in her black Granny Panties on a fire escape, apartment house stoop, on the city streets and sidewalk and finally sitting and panty-mooning in an open apartment window. Rumors Madonna Wants To Tour With Lady Gaga

     Just a quick post. Sorry i haven't done the other posts i mentioned previously yet.

                                                                                                                                                                          

     This morning, Sunday, August 29th at 10:30 AM, there was an article by Hortense Smith of Jezebel titled: "Madonna Wants To Tour With Lady Gaga". The Jezebel article cited a News Of The World article which had the headline "Madonna going Gaga for a Lady".   

                                                                                                                                                                        

     Just thinking of Madonna and Lady Gaga touring together makes me swoon. Lady Gaga, Pink, and Madonna are my full brief pantied heroes and help me get up the nerve to post the videos of myself male-modeling briefs on my YouTube channel (misterpantybuns). i would love to see that kiss that almost occurred between Lady Gaga and Madonna on Saturday Night Live completed passionately over and over again. In my opinion they could make beautiful music together in more ways than one. Maybe it is only a fantasy, but they do have much in common, are both smart business people, and i believe they have both spent time out in the Hamptons. If they got together privately then who knows what could result? (other than a paparazzi's dream and a total media frenzy unless they managed to keep it secret somehow). As Judy Tenuta is famous for saying: "It could happen!". Lady Gaga And Fame In Panties

Naturally when looking for News about Lady Gaga i checked the official Lady Gaga : News web-page posted by HAUSOFGAGA on July 9th, 2010.  Following a short paragraph (with photo) of Lady Gaga at Rockefeller Plaza where 25,000 of her "Little Monsters" had gathered to watch her perform live and in person on The Today Show, it appeared there were some videos, but i guess my browser settings weren't right.

While browsing the results of  Google searches for news on Lady Gaga and visiting some of those sites, naturally i stopped by the Today Show site where there were both an article the title of which began: "Lady Gaga draws 20,000 to Rockefeller Plaza -" and a 43 photo slideshow titled "Photos: Fashion gone Gaga".
                                                                                                              
 i  enjoyed re-visiting a past People.com 18 photo slideshow of Lady Gaga  titled "LOOK MA, NO PANTS!" published Nov. 24th, 2009 in "Best of 2009 | Lady Gaga: The Years Most Daring Fashionista. Amongst other Lady Gaga news, reports and blogs, i came across a number of MTV News articles. i enjoyed visiting MTV's Artist Page for Lady Gaga recently and reading the brief two paragraph "".
                                                                                                                
On July 9th, 2010 MTV News published an article written by Jocelyn Vena titled: "Lady Gaga Writhes In The Rain For 'Today' Show". There was also an
MTV News article by Nuzhat Naorheen with additional reporrting by Kimberly Reynolds titled "Lady Gaga Fans Camp Out For Days for 'Tody' Performance".  Two days earlier, on July 7th, MTV News had an article by Maura Johnston titled "Lady Gaga Plays Triumphant Homecoming Show At Madison Square Garden" and the day before that there was an article by Kyle Anderson of MTV News titled "".    
                                                                                                            
A lot of news outlets and blogs reported on Lady Gaga having become
the most popular living person on Facebook including  Jezebel which ran a paragraph by Irin Carmon titled "Lady Gaga Beats Obama In The Battle Of Facebook Fans"
                                                                                                              
Visiting the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel and the YouTube LadyGagaVEVO channel, both which i subscribed to via my YouTube channel (misterpantybuns), i noted she has has over 127,000,000 upload views and around 38,000,000 channel views on the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel, and over 800,000,000 views on her Lady GagaVEVO YouTube channel.  So what's the big surprise about her having the most Facebook fans with over 11,000,000? Were you surprised? i wasn't surprised at all.  
                                                                                                            
Lady Gaga does have a knack for attracting attention and causing controversy, sometimes in ways that remind me of Madonna and sometimes in ways that seem to shock the press despite their knowing how she craves attention and fame. In a previous post i mentioned how the paparazzi went nuts when she made an appearance behind home plate at a baseball game (it was a Mets Game at Citi Field) wearing a bra and panty set  that looked similar to the ones she she wore in her music video Telephone which also starred Beyonce. The distraction had roved to much and the Mets had her moved to Jerry Seinfeld's private box seats without his permission. She was reportedly pissed at the paparazzi's having gone overboard and causing her to have to be moved and flipped them one fingered salutes, first with one hand and then with both.
                                                                                                            
It was not long after that when Lady Gaga made news again by showing up at a Yankees baseball game, again without pants and wearing a Yankee pinstripe jersey with her black bra, panties and fishnets showing. The jersey was unbuttoned at the top and tied in a knot near the bottom, allowing the paparazzi to put their telephoto lenses to good use. The Huffington Post published the photos in post titled: "Lady Gaga Drinks Beer In Her Underwear At Yankees Game (PHOTOS)". Among the many articles and blog posts with photos had been one at Jezebel titled: "Lady Gaga Throws Fit, Flips Bird At Mets Game". The tabloids like the Daily Mail's Mail Online had jumped in with both feet with an article titled "Batty Lady Gaga wears studded bra and knickers to the baseball".  and describing the way she dressed as inappropriate while eagerly publishing a number of photos of her supposedly inappropriate attire in an article titled "Lady Gaga stands out from the crowd at sister's graduation".
                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
The Hollywood Gossip quoted Lady Gaga as saying "A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I'd die for my fans." and "I guess I'm just a Bronx cheer kind of girl." Unfortunately i have let myself gain weight and get even more out of shape. Somehow i seem to be getting older too, though i don't know how (excuses, excuses). It may have to be a mostly-text post. Maybe i should write about getting as famous in panties as Lady Gaga is.
                                                                                                              
Though Lady Gaga does look good in all the lingerie she wears, naturally i would love it even more if she would perform and appear in the kind of full brief panties that i love to wear and be seen in myself even more often than she already does. It is, after all, those full brief panties in public (along with her composing, singing, performing, entertaining and outspokenness) which were part of her original path to fame.

Apology and a Belated 2010 Undie Award Update

First, an apology: i am way, way, way overdue on writing a new post. i apologize  profusely to my followers and commenters who had been looking for a new post. 

The opportunities have been rushing by and i have been exceedingly tardy and slothful. i really should submit to some well deserved good old fashioned spankings.

Lady Gaga's Cosmo Cover and Music Video Telephone with Beyonce

It is a delight to see Lady Gaga gracing Cosmopolitan Magazine's cover in her nylon full brief panties. Inside Cosmo there are more pictures of Lady Gaga in her full brief panties and an interview. The Article was entitled: Lady Gaga Wants You. Needless to say, this issue of Cosmopolitan is a tremendous hit and there are posts about around the fashion world. The photo of the Lady Gaga Cosmo cover 2010 is from Lady Gaga's "Blaug of Gaga". The result of being on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine is that Lady Gaga has been on display in her full brief panties not just at newsstands, but has had her pantied photo prominently visible near the check out lines of almost every grocery store, pharmacy, convenience store, and supermarket in the country if not around the world. The cover made for good copy not only in  the fashion world, but in numerous blogs, online newspapers and magazines worldwide. Lady Gaga Performs With Elton John at 52nd Grammy Awards Show

The 52nd Grammy Awards which aired on CBS on January 31st, 2010 started off with an incredible performance. A song and dance number began in front of an elaborate set labeled The Fame Factory. The "Fame Factory "owner dragged a Gaga look-alike across the floor during the start of the dance number. Lady Gaga rose up amidst the belching puffs of steam while standing on a small elevator platform and started singing her song "Pokerface"(beautifully). She descended the stairs into the midst of the floor show. Near the end of the song she got dragged off by the Fame Factory owner, up some stairs and dropped into a flame-belching "rejected" funnel. Shortly thereafter two large doors opened to reveal Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John both singed, sooty, and sitting at pianos facing each other. It was clear that they had spent a fair amount of time practicing each other's songs together. Unfortunately the YouTube Video of the performance I had originally embedded is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Grammys, but there is another video of the performance with Lady Gaga performing first "Pokerface" solo and then "Speechless" and finally "Your Song" with Sir Elton John where embedding has been disabled by request, but the quality is good. That video is also up or available at Lady Gaga's website. The 2010 Grammy Awards show was a real winner. There were great performances by Beyonce in what appeared to be Kevlar panties, and a phenomenal acrobatic aerial performance by Pink while singing beautifully live and being drenched by a torrent of water. There were plenty of other great performers too. Naturally I thought Lady Gaga should have won and that Pink should have gotten an award for her song "Sober". The 52nd Grammy Award Show was a memorable one.

Initially I had resolved to keep this blog more to the subject of the blogs title: "Full Brief Panties", and hadn't intended to do another post about Lady Gaga quite so soon. Then I read on the Lady Gaga News Feed that Lady Gaga will perform at the 52nd Grammy Awards on January 31st on CBS, and that Lady Gaga is up for 5 Grammys, and just had to. Entertainer of the Decade and Panty Fashion Icon Extraordinaire

As a new year approaches and the decade draws to a conclusion, there will be much talk about who the top (fill in the blank with any subject) is. After viewing some snarky articles about Lady Gaga and some not so much, I felt I just had to get my two cents in. There is no question in my mind that Lady Gaga is the entertainer of the decade. That she is MTV News' Woman of the Year is great, but it doesn't go far enough. Her voice, her music, her outspoken advocacy for minority rights, her lyrics, her messages, her wild fashions, and yes, her panties, have all captivated me. In her latest music video alone, Bad Romance , Lady Gaga appears in more lingerie fashions and different styles of panties than almost all other stars combined. She has helped bring wearing underwear as outerwear into vogue, which, combined with her talent, in my opinion, has helped make her the entertainer of the decade. Who else could have brought discussions of various panty styles so much to the fore? Who else was ready to step forward with such bold and provocative displays of wild fashion in their panties (and make them all look so good) and at the same time floor us with her music, lyrics and voice? Who else rises to the level of a being a phenomenon in entertainment? My blog was originally intended to review the styles, fabrics, fit, comfort, and feel of various styles of ladies full brief panties and help with photographs to illustrate how they look modeled, and I will hopefully continue to add more full brief panty reviews in the coming New Year, but for the moment have to continue to digress slightly. After reading some of the disparaging remarks about Lady Gaga in a major publication by a person whom I won't go so far as to dignify by mentioning their name, it seems more important to me to recognize Lady Gaga here and now before the decade ends. I feel grateful for her stands against gender bias and bigotry, for her having brought public panty wearing to the fore, and for her wonderful music and captivating music videos. Thank you Lady Gaga! Regardless of who does or doesn't disagree and who else does or doesn't say so, I declare that from my point of view LADY GAGA IS THE ENTERTAINER OF THE DECADE!

Lady Gaga, Pink, and Madonna - Full Brief Pantied Music Legends

Not long after Lady Gaga first came to my attention I was very much taken aback by the extent to which she was initially savaged and ruthlessly criticized in the press and on the internet. The Hollywood Gossip ran a story criticizing her for her supposedly shocking performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. They ran a piece claiming that Lady Gaga's VMA performance offended pretty much everybody . The first thing that caught my attention when I looked to see what all the fuss was about, was that Lady Gaga's voice and singing are phenomenal. She has the voice of an operatic angel. I quickly learned that Lady Gaga had won big at the MTV Video Music awards, winning Best New Artist, Best Art Direction (Paparrazzi) and Best Special Effects (paparazzi). I saw the performance it on her official site at . Most of the criticism of the official music video "Paparazzi" seemed to miss the main themes of the video, which centered on the love/hate relationship between stars seeking fame and the danger of the way stars are treated by the paparazzi. It is a valid point which has not been adequately dealt with to this day. How soon the tragic death of Lady Diana seems to be brushed aside by these money hungry photographers. They stalk, invade privacy, and even break the arms of stars with their bulky cameras trying to get in too close.
      Another ridiculous rumor that was circulating for a while (maybe it still is) is that Lady Gaga was actually not a woman. If one checks out the multitude of photos of Lady Gaga in her knickers it becomes obvious that she is all woman. One can easily see how different a male looks like in panties even from the rear by looking at the photos I posted of myself (for adult women only) in my ladies_full_briefs-male_modeled-back_view . I am so thankful that Lady Gaga made public panty wearing fashionable. Her entire cast was wearing panties in an absolutely fantastic MVA performance. I am so glad she posted it on line. It is about time a mature women with that kind of talent get the amount of recognition and respect commensurate with their talent from both the public and the paparazzi.  That Music Video Award performance was incredibly artful and entertaining. Not only was I definitely not offended, I feel I have become a fan, and checked out Lady_Gaga_on_MySpace as well.
Right at the beginning of the song entitled: 'Don't Dream It', Be it' in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Dr. Frankenfurter (played by Tim Curry) sings: 'Whatever happened to Fay Wray? That beautiful satin draped frame. As it clung to her thigh, How I started to cry, 'Cause I wanted to be dressed just the same.'  That's a sentiment that struck me and some time ago I used to go out in drag on Halloween.
    

I bought the soundtrack album to the movie Rocky Horror and saw it in person 11 times. On the subject of possibly dressing as Lady Gaga some Halloween (or any other time), I do like the idea of an excuse to have my panties show as they do in photos on my  site. I have become an (unofficial?) Lady Gaga fan. On the subject of Lady Gaga's messages, I loved the one she sent_loud_and_clear at the Gay Rights Rally at the National Equity March. (I saw it posted over at Grace The Spot where I was first introduced to the YouTube video of Pink - Sober where pink also appears in full brief panties and also has an unbelievable singing voice. Another favorite of mine). I noted in the video clip of Lady Gaga at the rally in Washington D.C. she was wearing pants. Sex may not equal power, but it can be be used in a powerful way by the ones being watched. I wonder how much more media attention and air time lady Gaga's short speech would have gotten had she been standing there in her panties instead of wearing pants? Not long ago there was a post on the Bitch magazine blogs entitled "Sapphic Salon: Why Lady Gaga is important for gay women ". The post included an imbedded YouTube video of Lady Gaga being interviewed by Barbara Walters Irrespective of the non-issue whether or not being bi would sell more records and whether Lady Gaga uses her sexuality to her advantage, the facts are these: Lady Gaga HAS IT ALL AND THEN SOME! She has a fantastic voice, is an excellent musician, writes interesting lyrics, is a fabulous entertainer, is incredibly sexy, brave and forthright. If her sexuality and her panties showing help, then good for her! HAVING IT ALL is what makes her more than just another star. It's made her a phenomenon. In My opinion, the panty wearing stars Pink, Madonna and Lady Gaga all really rock and will forever be music and entertainment legends.
