Lbloggers Fbloggers OOTD and Review of Elomi Valentina Heart-Print Nylon Briefs

Normally I try to avoid buying panties which don't have enough of a rise to come at least close to the natural waist, but the red heart print on this black size L EL8405 Elomi Valentina Brief was so pretty that I just couldn't resist buying and reviewing them. I decided to style these knickers with an American Rag short-sleeve lace-trim top in the colour '"Yellow Combo" from Macy's in order to provide a nice complementary colour contrast for my lingerie fashion OOTD and review. I purchased the Elomi Valentina heart print nylon briefs from Freshpair. Unfortunately while I was typing this post I noticed that the Elomi Valentina Brief from Freshpair (where I bought them) is currently being shown as no longer available. I do see that there are still a number of other Elomi Panty styles available for purchase there. The Elomi Valentina Brief is also showing as no longer currently available at HerRoom or at Bare Necessities either. You can check out the Latest Collections from Elomi Lingerie here (link to Elomi's site). The delightful pair of red on black heart print Elomi Valentina Briefs I ordered from  Freshpair arrived promptly and I'm very happy to have received them before they were all sold out. It's too bad they're not widely available right now. I think these panties are perfect for Valentine's Day. The Elomi website (link): Elomi Lingerie - beautiful lingerie for the fuller figure.
The yellow blouse I chose to complement and contrast with the Elomi Valentina Brief Panties in my OOTD and review is an American Rag Plus Size Short Sleeve Top with Lace-Trim in Neon Yellow from Macy's.

TRANSCRIPT: "As you can see, the pair of ladies panties that I'm male-modeling and reviewing in this lingerie review video, have a pretty heart print. It's aptly named Elomi's Valentina Brief. The fabric has a wonderful slippery soft feel. Um, they don't come up to the natural waist, but they're a very pretty panty. I've paired it, uh today, with a uh, an American Rag blouse, for, to complete my blouse and panty outfit for this review. This customer lingerie review video is released into the public domain. Please share it everywhere."

You can check out the Latest Collections from Elomi Lingerie here (link to Elomi's site). I like the look of the Elomi Betty Raspberry Brief from the front but they look like the coverage is slightly less than full in back viewing the Elomi Betty Brief on HerRoom's site. The Elomi Amelia Brief in the image at HerRoom appears to have more complete coverage and is high cut but the fabric is listed as a nylon spandex and cotton blend.
As I noted earlier in this post, there are a number of Elomi Panty styles available at Freshpair in addition to many full coverage briefs. I have yet to make an in person appearance to participate in Freshpair's National Underwear Day (which I blogged about in my post titled" National Underwear Day 2013, Lingerie Fashion, Briefs in News and Blogs), or to look into participating in Freshpair's Confidence Project by taking the first step and filling out their secure their secure form. I wonder whether someday I might be seen being interviewed in one of the videos on Freshpair's YouTube Channel. I promised I'd Tweet them @Freshpair on Twitter when I uploaded a new video. It's time to tweet!

Customer Lingerie Review: Chantelle 'C Magnifique' Full Brief Panties

I didn't memorize many lines, don't use cue-cards or a teleprompter, flubbed a lot of what I was trying to say a lot in the following customer lingerie review video of Chantelle's C Magnifique briefs, saying "micro-knit" instead of "microfiber".  In addition to saying "um", "uh", and repeating myself , I totally forgot to say anything about the blouse part of the blouse-and-panty outfit I was male-modeling and reviewing. What a STAR I am (not).

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
"The ladies full brief panties that I'm male-modeling and reviewing today are Chantelle 'C Magnifique' High-Waist Brief Panty in Monarch Red, and they'd be a lovely choice for a Valentine's Day gift. Um they have a beautiful, very shiny woven variegated Jacquard uh, knit pattern that covers the front panel of the panty as well as covering the entirety of the gusset all the way to the rear seam, where as you can see there's, there's a marked difference between the Jacquard pattern and the back panel of the panties. Uh, the back of the panty is made of a very soft, lustrous micro, mmm, um, micro-knit Lycra fab uh fabric - um, very closely woven and, and fully opaque. Um, on the inside of the panties there's a fully lined cotton gusset, and the, the front of the panty, inside the front panel, there's a very silky soft smooth, uh, panel, um very finely woven. For a Lycra, it's, it, It seems more like, um, that that slippery, uh, wonderful feel that I get from a closely knit, uh, fine nylon. Very silky and comfortable to wear. This video is released into the public domain. Please feel free to share it."

Some additional notes: I don't regard these to be a "high-waist" panty as they come close to but not above the natural waistline. These briefs run a bit small for their labeled size. The pair I modeled and reviewed were a size medium which would be equivalent to a size small in most other brands. If you order a pair of these briefs I would suggest getting the next size larger than what you normally wear. Ideally I would have liked it if the seat of the panty was a bit more full cut. I found myself wanting to tug them outward and downward a little bit by the leg holes to make sure I was getting full coverage - which these panties might not provide for those who are more full figured and have a bigger rounder bottom than mine.

I paired this lovely pair of ladies full briefs with a Swirl Mesh Smocked Dropwaist Peasant Blouse with ruffled hem and ruching from Dressbarn. The smocked elasticized waistband creates a blouson effect and the ruffled hem makes the blouse look lovely worn down over trousers or a skirt or in blouse and panty as outerwear outfit like this one. I am delighted with the feel, fit, quality and looks of this blouse! Thank you Dressbarn!

Chantelle C Magnifique' full briefs are available at  a wide variety of lingerie retailers and department stores, including but not limited to: Freshpair; HerRoom; BareNecessities; Nordstrom; Bloomingdale's; Bergdorf Goodman; Neiman Marcus and many other retailers - so sorry if you happen to follow me, carry these briefs and weren't mentioned.

Even a cursory glance confirms that these are, in fact women's underpants. Their beautiful rich design, full coverage and opacity, makes these panties an excellent choice for wearing out in public in keeping with the increasingly in vogue underwear as outerwear trend. Whether worn underneath  the sheer haute couture of a designer gown, or as part of a blouse and panty outfit like the one I'm male-modeling here, these full briefs seem to me to be begging to be seen. It's unfortunate that the variegated Jacquard floral pattern on the briefs didn't show up as well in the photos and videos of me male-modeling the panties as it would if you actually see a pair of these full briefs for yourself in person, I've posted a couple of photos I took of myself male-modeling them anyway:

What do you think of the colour, look and fit of this pair of Chantelle 'C Magnifique' full brief panties in Monarch Red? Do they look too tight? Should I have gotten them one size larger?
