Lady Gaga And Fame In Panties

Naturally when looking for News about Lady Gaga i checked the official Lady Gaga : News web-page posted by HAUSOFGAGA on July 9th, 2010.  Following a short paragraph (with photo) of Lady Gaga at Rockefeller Plaza where 25,000 of her "Little Monsters" had gathered to watch her perform live and in person on The Today Show, it appeared there were some videos, but i guess my browser settings weren't right.
                                                                                                                
As i am still writing this i checked Lady Gaga : News : New Tweet From @ladygaga. Lady Gaga's Tweet: 25,000 LILMONSTERS   GATHERED WITH THEIR CLOUD=RAIN MAKING THE PERFORMANCE OF A MISFITS LIFETIME: Lady Gaga Teeth Live On The Today Show.
                                                                                                                
While browsing the results of  Google searches for news on Lady Gaga and visiting some of those sites, naturally i stopped by the Today Show site where there were both an article the title of which began: "Lady Gaga draws 20,000 to Rockefeller Plaza -" and a 43 photo slideshow titled "Photos: Fashion gone Gaga".
                                                                                                              
 i  enjoyed re-visiting a past People.com 18 photo slideshow of Lady Gaga  titled "LOOK MA, NO PANTS!" published Nov. 24th, 2009 in "Best of 2009 | Lady Gaga: The Years Most Daring Fashionista. Amongst other Lady Gaga news, reports and blogs, i came across a number of MTV News articles. i enjoyed visiting MTV's Artist Page for Lady Gaga recently and reading the brief two paragraph "".
                                                                                                                
On July 9th, 2010 MTV News published an article written by Jocelyn Vena titled: "Lady Gaga Writhes In The Rain For 'Today' Show". There was also an
MTV News article by Nuzhat Naorheen with additional reporrting by Kimberly Reynolds titled "Lady Gaga Fans Camp Out For Days for 'Tody' Performance".  Two days earlier, on July 7th, MTV News had an article by Maura Johnston titled "Lady Gaga Plays Triumphant Homecoming Show At Madison Square Garden" and the day before that there was an article by Kyle Anderson of MTV News titled "".    
                                                                                                            
A lot of news outlets and blogs reported on Lady Gaga having become
the most popular living person on Facebook including  Jezebel which ran a paragraph by Irin Carmon titled "Lady Gaga Beats Obama In The Battle Of Facebook Fans"
                                                                                                              
Visiting the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel and the YouTube LadyGagaVEVO channel, both which i subscribed to via my YouTube channel (misterpantybuns), i noted she has has over 127,000,000 upload views and around 38,000,000 channel views on the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel, and over 800,000,000 views on her Lady GagaVEVO YouTube channel.  So what's the big surprise about her having the most Facebook fans with over 11,000,000? Were you surprised? i wasn't surprised at all.  
                                                                                                            
Lady Gaga does have a knack for attracting attention and causing controversy, sometimes in ways that remind me of Madonna and sometimes in ways that seem to shock the press despite their knowing how she craves attention and fame. In a previous post i mentioned how the paparazzi went nuts when she made an appearance behind home plate at a baseball game (it was a Mets Game at Citi Field) wearing a bra and panty set  that looked similar to the ones she she wore in her music video Telephone which also starred Beyonce. The distraction had roved to much and the Mets had her moved to Jerry Seinfeld's private box seats without his permission. She was reportedly pissed at the paparazzi's having gone overboard and causing her to have to be moved and flipped them one fingered salutes, first with one hand and then with both.
                                                                                                            
It was not long after that when Lady Gaga made news again by showing up at a Yankees baseball game, again without pants and wearing a Yankee pinstripe jersey with her black bra, panties and fishnets showing. The jersey was unbuttoned at the top and tied in a knot near the bottom, allowing the paparazzi to put their telephoto lenses to good use. The Huffington Post published the photos in post titled: "Lady Gaga Drinks Beer In Her Underwear At Yankees Game (PHOTOS)". The photos were also published at Cele|bitchy.
                                                                                                              
Among the many articles and blog posts with photos had been one at Jezebel titled: "Lady Gaga Throws Fit, Flips Bird At Mets Game". The tabloids like the Daily Mail's Mail Online had jumped in with both feet with an article titled "Batty Lady Gaga wears studded bra and knickers to the baseball".  and describing the way she dressed as inappropriate while eagerly publishing a number of photos of her supposedly inappropriate attire in an article titled "Lady Gaga stands out from the crowd at sister's graduation".
                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
The Hollywood Gossip quoted Lady Gaga as saying "A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I'd die for my fans." and "I guess I'm just a Bronx cheer kind of girl." The article at Gossipcenter.com which included photos, was titled: "Lady  Gaga Defends Her Baseball Cheering Methods".

Unfortunately i have let myself gain weight and get even more out of shape. Somehow i seem to be getting older too, though i don't know how (excuses, excuses). It may have to be a mostly-text post. Maybe i should write about getting as famous in panties as Lady Gaga is.
                                                                                                              
Though Lady Gaga does look good in all the lingerie she wears, naturally i would love it even more if she would perform and appear in the kind of full brief panties that i love to wear and be seen in myself even more often than she already does. It is, after all, those full brief panties in public (along with her composing, singing, performing, entertaining and outspokenness) which were part of her original path to fame.

Apology and a Belated 2010 Undie Award Update

First, an apology: i am way, way, way overdue on writing a new post. i apologize  profusely to my followers and commenters who had been looking for a new post. 

The opportunities have been rushing by and i have been exceedingly tardy and slothful. i really should submit to some well deserved good old fashioned spankings.

All the hoopla concerning Lady Gaga's recent appearances at: A baseball game wearing the same bra and panties she wore in the Music Video Telephone. The paparazzi went nuts with the cameras right behind home plate causing her to have to move and some booing whereupon she flipped a double bird and the news media all covered it, and; Her appearance at her sister's Catholic school graduation in a see-through outfit (with her panties showing, naturally).

Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams

i dreamt i was "The Maidenform Man" in my Maidenform panties.

     Those of us who have been around for a while may well remember the historic Maidenform "Dream" advertising campaign which started in 1949. The ads featured women out in public in their underwear with captions like "I dreamt I (description of photo) in my Maidenform bra". An early example: "I dreamt I went shopping in my Maidenform bra". The ads continued through the 1960's and into the 1070s(CLICK HERE for info about and photo from the 1970s Maidenform ad campaigns). The ads showed photos of the models parading around in public in their panties and bras, ending with the line: "The Maidenform Woman. You Never Know Where She'll Turn Up.". In 2002, according to the maidenform site: "Maidenform introduces an updated "Dream" campaign along with its "iconic Pink M" "Maidenform.      i have dreams of my own with respect to my Maidenform panties. There would be millions of Maidenform panty advertisements, not just on YouTube, but featured in every form of media all over the world showing me in my Maidenform panties with captions reading: "i dreamt i was world famous in my Maidenform panties", and all of the Maidenform ads would end with the words: "The Maidenform Man. You can see him everywhere"; in my dream become reality i would actually be filmed out in all those public places in my Maidenform panties for the millions of advertisements with all hundreds of television news cameras rolling. Obviously i'm going to have to make a much better video than this one if if i want any chance of having these dreams come true. A long time ago a woman commented with respect to my panties asking: "What good is it if nobody sees them?" I realized immediately that she was right. What good is it if nobody sees them? As I'd noted in a previous post, I started a New Blogspot Blog entitled: "Full Brief Panties Male Modeled" on which to post photos and Video of myself male modeling various pairs of full brief panties. I took a few BRIEF (pun intended) videos, posted them on my YouTube Channel, "misterpantybuns", and then embedded them in 6 new posts on my new Blogspot blog. I'm hoping that you'll swing by that blog and let me know what you think. I'm also hoping you will share the photos and videos of me male modeling full brief panties with adult women everywhere. Rant Against Headlines Slurring Women and Prom Dresses (continued)

This post is a follow-up to my previous post about slurs in headlines calling women and their prom dresses trashy, slutty, and trampy There is a blatant double standard when it comes to the behavior of men versus women as Jessica Valenti , the Editor of Feministing.com and author pointed out right on the cover of her book entitled: " HE'S A STUD, SHE'S A SLUT and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know". These double standards are often applied in very inconsistent ways. While pundits, columnists and reporters have referred of late to women and their fashions being "Trashy", "Slutty", "Cheap", and "Trampy", it seems they trip all over themselves trying to get and publish photographs of the women and their outfits. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD A MALE REFERRED TO IN THE PRESS AS "TRASHY", "SLUTTY", OR "TRAMPY" ? A similar inconsistency seems to have occurred with me. Although some men seem to feel threatened or angered by my male modeling of ladies full brief panties and I may have received an insult here or there, I've never been called any of those things. So far, nobody has been tripping over each other to put my photos on their front pages either even though I posted photos of myself in my full brief panties.  NOW I HAVE STARTED A NEW BLOG WITH PHOTO GALLERY  entitled: Full Brief Panties Male Modeled with plenty of my photos (back view). Let's see if they call me "trashy, "slutty", "trampy" or trip over each other to put my photos on their front pages. I doubt they will. Sexism, like racism, still needs working on.

New York Post's Slurs Against Women Mindlessly Repeated

     In an article entitled:   Girls flock to trampy prom dresses Annie Karni of the New York Post used the words "stripper" "slutty" "shocking" to describe the current fashions. These slurs came to my attention reading an article by Erin Donnely in StyleList entitled
Prom Dress Trend for 2010 is 'Slutty Chic' citing the New York Post article. I responded irately with the following comment:
     "Since when do we follow Newscorp's slurs, i.e.: "slutty" to denigrate womens' desires to be in style a la Lady Gaga? The New York Post is owned by Newscorp, headed by the same right wingers who would have all women be back in the kitchen baking cookies, covered up head to foot and acting as servants to their male masters."
     Shortly thereafter I noted that Jezebel had run an article entitled: Trashy Prom Dresses Remain Flash Point In Ongoing Intergenerational War  With my emotions still inflamed from the other two articles and having barely gotten past the headline, I fired this email off to the articles author, jenna@jezebel.com

Dear Jenna,
     It irks me that anyone would follow the lead of the New York Post in calling women or their attire "slutty". The New York Post is owned by Newscorp, well known for its right wing promulgation of the sexist anti-woman mindset which would have all women be barefoot, pregnant, in the kitchen, covered head to toe when in public, and subservient to their male masters. It is no surprise that the prudish right wing would be aghast at the idea of women following the latest fashion trends a la Lady Gaga.

The Vintage Kayser Full Brief and Other Panty Photos "Sarah" Found Creepy

This photo of me was featured on the blog "Something Awful" on December 28, 2009 as the "Awful Link of the Day - Sissy Panty Buns (Thanks Sarah!)" , and references a link to my "gallery filled with photos of an old dude wearing assorted sheer panties". In the photo I'm seen male modeling a pair of vintage lace trimmed Kayser red full brief nylon panties and a Hanky Panky black lace babydoll. As you can see, vintage Kayser panties are relatively opaque for a full brief panty. Believe it or not this particular pair of ladies nylon panties is a size four. They were quite tight on me, needless to say, and I doubt I could have gotten them on except for the well tailored generous cut of Kayser full briefs. As you can also see, this pair of ladies panties has a generous cotton gusset with the curved rear seam that was typical of the vintage panties of decades gone by.                                                                                                                

According to the "Something Awful blog post,"Sarah" finds the photo of me with my 'caught in ladies panties' look to be "totally creepy", "but that works, because Panty Buns invites women to insult him". Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, Sarah never bothered to leave a comment on either of my blogs. Back to the women's undies in the photo below. Kayser made very comfortable "granny panties". It's a shame that they apparently went out of business as their pattern and sewing were good and somewhat similar to the cut and fit of today's Maidenform  "Wise Buys" full brief panties (shown here in Sea Foam Green, male modeled, back view).                                                  

                              

                                                                                    

I do prefer the fabrics of Vanity Fair's Lace Nouveau and Ravissant Briefs. The panty fabric I miss the most however, is the silky soft relatively sheer Dupont Diaphanique. If only someone made panties of Dupont Diaphanique with lace insets and ruffly lace trim using a Maidenform pattern in the more vibrant but feminine pinks, lilacs, and yellows of old. Until they do, the Memoir Rose pair of Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Style Lace Nouveau full brief panties I'm shown male-modeling below will probably continue to be my favorite pair of ladies full brief nylon panties.

The Undie Awards For Full Brief Panties

Each year you, the public, have gotten to Vote for Your Favorite Underwear at the undies.com. In the year 2008 more than 15,000 people cast their votes and Vanity Fair swept the boards in the overall favorite categories. In the favorite bottom category, the surprise winner was the Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Style 15712 Full Brief Panty . High Waisted Full Brief Panties to Dominate Summer Panty Fashion

The fashion trend toward vintage style high waisted frilly feminine full brief nylon panties has been gaining momentum, seemingly almost at the same rate as the rise in Lady Gaga's popularity. Amanda Torres of Body Magazine's Lingerie News quotes Nicky Clayton of Rigby & Peller as saying "The high waisted brief is definitely going to dominate in 2010. The look has gathered momentum..." in an article entitled: " Rigby & Peller Goes Retro ". The article includes a photo of the vintage ruffle trimmed full brief panty with matching bra   The photo of the Platinum High Waisted Brief shown here is from Rigby & Peller of London's site. 

As previous visitors to my blogs are already aware, I love  wearing and posing in ladies full brief panties . Panties as pretty as these are meant to be seen. Lady Gaga's Cosmo Cover and Music Video Telephone with Beyonce

It is a delight to see Lady Gaga gracing Cosmopolitan Magazine's cover in her nylon full brief panties. Inside Cosmo there are more pictures of Lady Gaga in her full brief panties and an interview. The Article was entitled: Lady Gaga Wants You. Needless to say, this issue of Cosmopolitan is a tremendous hit and there are posts about around the fashion world. The photo of the Lady Gaga Cosmo cover 2010 is from Lady Gaga's "Blaug of Gaga". The result of being on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine is that Lady Gaga has been on display in her full brief panties not just at newsstands, but has had her pantied photo prominently visible near the check out lines of almost every grocery store, pharmacy, convenience store, and supermarket in the country if not around the world. This particular style of Vanity Fair ladies nylon full brief panties are made of a soft finely woven translucent nylon tricot with a cotton lined gusset and triangular lace insets. Vanity Fair advertises these panties as being both comfortable to wear and pretty to look at. I can tell you from personal experience that Vanity Fair full brief nylon panties are incredibly so comfortable to wear that I hate to ever take them off. I put on and wear a clean pair of Vanity Fair ladies nylon panties to bed every night. Sometimes I've  even worn them into the shower or a bathtub, hand washing both them and myself. I love my Vanity Fair panties. Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau nylon full brief panties are listed as being one of the top rated pairs of women's nylon underpants at  Lady Grace where they are currently available in black, candleglow and white.     

Vanity  Fair Style 13001 Lace Nouveau full brief nylon panties with lace insets are currently listed as being available in Aqua Mist at  Girdles Galore , Isaac Sultan , and Kohls. The Aqua Mist pair of Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau ladies nylon full brief panties are shown below male modeled, back view, with an a.n.a. Peplum Tie-Front Electric Pink floral puff sleeve crepe blouse purchased at JC Penney. The blouse is obviously a size or two too small for me (it's a Large) and is also not listed among the currently available a.n.a. tops at JCPenney Although I did find and purchase the Memoir Rose pair of Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau full brief nylon panties which I am shown male modeling (back view) in the photo below at JCPenney, JCPenney's online store currently shows the three packs of the Vanity Fair lace inset briefs as only being available in Star White, Candleglow and Fawn.       

Both the Style & Co. ruffle teal floral tiered blouse I'm shown wearing with the rose pink nylon panties and the Spencer Jeremy yellow floral pleated neck flutter sleeve crepe blouse (also a size or two too small) were purchased from Macy's but are currently not available in those particular styles. I purchased the Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau black nylon full brief panties (also shown male modeled below) from both Macy's and from Sears . If one is buying panties online rather than actually going into a store it's hard to know what the panties will look like from behind. Without actually trying them on and twisting around to see what they look like in the mirror or being photographed in them it's hard to know. One of the few online retailers that actually has photographs of the back views of panties modeled is HerRoom. I happened to purchase this particular pair of Blushing Pink Vanity Fair Ravissant full brief panties (shown male modeled by me in the photo above) at HerRoom  although there are many stores and retail chains which carry this must-own Undie Award winning panty. Out of all the different pairs of ladies nylon panties I wear, these are by far the most silky soft. The Style 15712 Vanity Fair Ravissant full brief panties have a more full cut Style 13001 Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau full brief panties. They have a surprisingly good fit considering that the rear seam of the cotton gusset is sewn straight across instead of the curved, more generous cut that the vintage Vanity Fair Ravissant full brief panties had. The currently manufactured Vanity Fair Ravissant ladies full briefs are also considerably less transparent. The upside of the fabric currently used to make these panties is it's fantastic silky softness. These panties feel so comfortable and soft against your skin you too will never want to take them off. Just in case you were wondering, I don't wear the particular blouses to bed. T-shirts are comfy but I prefer a soft nylon babydoll like the one shown in the last two photos. I'm having trouble finding nice ultra-feminine cap sleeve ruffled nylon babydolls and babydoll tops. I love frills ruffles and lace. Lady Gaga Performs With Elton John at 52nd Grammy Awards Show

The 52nd Grammy Awards which aired on CBS on January 31st, 2010 started off with an incredible performance. A song and dance number began in front of an elaborate set labeled The Fame Factory. The "Fame Factory "owner dragged a Gaga look-alike across the floor during the start of the dance number. Lady Gaga rose up amidst the belching puffs of steam while standing on a small elevator platform and started singing her song "Pokerface"(beautifully). She descended the stairs into the midst of the floor show. Near the end of the song she got dragged off by the Fame Factory owner, up some stairs and dropped into a flame-belching "rejected" funnel. Shortly thereafter two large doors opened to reveal Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John both singed, sooty, and sitting at pianos facing each other. It was clear that they had spent a fair amount of time practicing each other's songs together. Unfortunately the YouTube Video of the performance I had originally embedded is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Grammys, but there is another video of the performance with Lady Gaga performing first "Pokerface" solo and then "Speechless" and finally "Your Song" with Sir Elton John where embedding has been disabled by request, but the quality is good. That video is also up or available at Lady Gaga's website. The 2010 Grammy Awards show was a real winner. There were great performances by Beyonce in what appeared to be Kevlar panties, and a phenomenal acrobatic aerial performance by Pink while singing beautifully live and being drenched by a torrent of water. There were plenty of other great performers too. Naturally I thought Lady Gaga should have won and that Pink should have gotten an award for her song "Sober". The 52nd Grammy Award Show was a memorable one.

How could I have not known about the No Pants Subway Ride until I saw it on the television evening news on January 10th 2010? After having seen Ida Siegel of NBC television interviewing a woman as she stood there in her pretty pink panties on a New York City subway, naturally I did a few Google searches and then read in in Wikipedia about No Pants Day and the Annual No Pants Subway Ride being totally separate events. Before I could write a post or attempt to take a crude video of the television set when the story came back on that night Improv Everywhere's No Pants 2010 Reports were already coming into their blog at a good clip. There were participants, observers and news media already posting photographs and videos online. Another Brief Lady Gaga Post: 52nd Grammy Awards!

Initially I had resolved to keep this blog more to the subject of the blogs title: "Full Brief Panties", and hadn't intended to do another post about Lady Gaga quite so soon. Then I read on the Lady Gaga News Feed that Lady Gaga will perform at the 52nd Grammy Awards on January 31st on CBS, and that Lady Gaga is up for 5 Grammys, and just had to. Entertainer of the Decade and Panty Fashion Icon Extraordinaire

As a new year approaches and the decade draws to a conclusion, there will be much talk about who the top (fill in the blank with any subject) is. After viewing some snarky articles about Lady Gaga and some not so much, I felt I just had to get my two cents in. There is no question in my mind that Lady Gaga is the entertainer of the decade. That she is MTV News' Woman of the Year is great, but it doesn't go far enough. Her voice, her music, her outspoken advocacy for minority rights, her lyrics, her messages, her wild fashions, and yes, her panties, have all captivated me. In her latest music video alone, Bad Romance , Lady Gaga appears in more lingerie fashions and different styles of panties than almost all other stars combined. She has helped bring wearing underwear as outerwear into vogue, which, combined with her talent, in my opinion, has helped make her the entertainer of the decade. Who else could have brought discussions of various panty styles so much to the fore? Who else was ready to step forward with such bold and provocative displays of wild fashion in their panties (and make them all look so good) and at the same time floor us with her music, lyrics and voice? Who else rises to the level of a being a phenomenon in entertainment? My blog was originally intended to review the styles, fabrics, fit, comfort, and feel of various styles of ladies full brief panties and help with photographs to illustrate how they look modeled, and I will hopefully continue to add more full brief panty reviews in the coming New Year, but for the moment have to continue to digress slightly. After reading some of the disparaging remarks about Lady Gaga in a major publication by a person whom I won't go so far as to dignify by mentioning their name, it seems more important to me to recognize Lady Gaga here and now before the decade ends. I feel grateful for her stands against gender bias and bigotry, for her having brought public panty wearing to the fore, and for her wonderful music and captivating music videos. Thank you Lady Gaga! Regardless of who does or doesn't disagree and who else does or doesn't say so, I declare that from my point of view LADY GAGA IS THE ENTERTAINER OF THE DECADE!
