Normally I try to avoid buying panties which don't have enough of a rise to come at least close to the natural waist, but the red heart print on this black size L EL8405 Elomi Valentina Brief was so pretty that I just couldn't resist buying and reviewing them. I decided to style these knickers with an American Rag short-sleeve lace-trim top in the colour '"Yellow Combo" from Macy's in order to provide a nice complementary colour contrast for my lingerie fashion OOTD and review. I purchased the Elomi Valentina heart print nylon briefs from Freshpair. Unfortunately while I was typing this post I noticed that the Elomi Valentina Brief from Freshpair (where I bought them) is currently being shown as no longer available. I do see that there are still a number of other Elomi Panty styles available for purchase there. The Elomi Valentina Brief is also showing as no longer currently available at HerRoom or at Bare Necessities either. The delightful pair of red on black heart print Elomi Valentina Briefs I ordered from Freshpair arrived promptly and I'm very happy to have received them before they were all sold out. At one time Maidenform made and sold a wider selection of classic women's full brief nylon underpants than they do today. Maidenform full brief nylon panties had a very generous full mushroom shaped cotton lined gusset. The large curved rear seam of the gusset rose fairly high. I considered it to be a delightful design feature. The classically tailored vintage Maidenform briefs had some shape and were designed for real women, not toothpick-thin models. You can see how pretty this design feature was in my post titled "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams". These briefs used to come in a variety of colours including a gorgeous vibrant feminine pink. By the time I wrote the post "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams Part 2" Maidenform's Tricot Full briefs were getting harder and harder to come by, the rear seam of the gusset was closer to being straight across, and the colour selection was sparse. Now it seems the only full briefs Maidenform is making are the Flexees Shaper Panties I'm seen modeling and reviewing in this post. Now that Maidenform has been acquired by Hanes Brands I'm hoping the more traditional briefs will regain some attention.
It only occurred to me after I noticed how pretty this pair of Magenta Maidenform Flexees shapewear panties looks on me in the photographs below, that perhaps the title of this post should have been Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams Part 3 and be a sequel to my earlier posts.
Quoting from Kmart's webpage about the blouse I styled in this outfit: "Liven up your look with the energetic style of this women's plus top by Jaclyn Smith. This silky shirt features a floral graphic and flutters with rows of eyelash ruffles, jazzing up any casual outfit with fashionable flair. Short sleeves and a V-neckline make it ideal for showing off your favorite jewelry."
I bought the Jaclyn Smith women's plus floral ruffle top in Brook Green that I styled with these Maidenform Flexees briefs for my blouse and panty OOTD from Kmart and purchased the Flexees Weightless Comfort Brief 2564 in the colour "Magenta Me Crazy" from Bare Necessities.
TRANSCRIPT: "The pair of ladies full brief panties that I'm male-modeling in this customer lingerie review video is a Maidenform Flexees Shape Panty. Um I bought it primarily because of the colour. It's very pretty, and the name made me laugh. It's 'Magenta Me Crazy'. Uh, for this video I've paired this pair of panties with a ruffle blouse, a floral ruffle blouse in green from Jaclyn Smith. Um, this pair of Maidenform Flexees panties is, has laser cut leg holes, the idea being, that it wouldn't leave a panty line. it also has a back seam which gives the initial impression that they're sheer when in fact they're not. They're uh, an opaque panty. Um, the back seam does give some shape to the panty. Uh, to me it feels like they're riding up. I prefer to have uh, an, I prefer to have elastic at the leg holes to help hold them in place and prevent ride-up, um, and I'm not concerned about the panty lines. Watching the customer video lingerie review of this pair of Maidenform Flexees shaper panties they appear to fit me much better than I realized when I was making the video review. Perhaps I should have worn them all day long to see whether or not they would actually ride up or whether they might stay put and continue to look pretty. It could have been that I'm just not used to wearing fitted back-seam panties with no elastic at the leg holes. The fabric felt good against my skin and I LOVE the colour!
Those who follow me or read my reviews regularly probably already know that I like having panty lines and the underwear as outerwear look, whereas these briefs seem intended to make it appear like no underwear is being worn at all.

The REAL reason they removed the video was because one or more bigots on the YouTube team did not like the fact that the gender association of the blouse and full briefs I was reviewing do not match my gender - yet another case of BLATANT and INDEFENSIBLE SEX DISCRIMINATION PRACTISED BY YOUTUBE, compounded by their publishing/ posting bald-faced disparaging lies about me and about the content they wrongfully (and illegally) removed.
I suspect that the bigoted YouTube operatives responsible for this abuse of power reasoned that I could not do anything about their hurtful discrimination because of the facts that I do not accept money for anything I post on the internet, and the fact that Google's YouTube has so much more money to spend for lawyers than I do. THEY ARE BIGOTED BULLIES who should by rights have anti-trust actions brought against them. Apparently the management at Google's YouTube feels they have enough money for lawyers and have enough politicians in their pocket that they are not concerned at all when their bigoted employees discriminate with total impunity against minorities at will, and with malice.

In the customer lingerie video I made to go with this post I expressed my pleasure with this pair of Rago Shapewear panty briefs. The next time I order some of these briefs, however, I'll follow the recommended sizing for more comfort when wearing them all day long. The pair of Rago Shapewear Panty Briefs I wore with this outfit were WAY too tight - so tight that they don't appear nearly as attractive in the lingerie review video as they otherwise might have looked if I had purchased the correct size for myself.
The Rago Shaper Panty Brief With Lace Style 919, which I purchased from HerRoom, is a true full coverage brief having classic vintage style tailoring. The briefs have 9 1/2 inch side-seams, a 10 inch rise, and a cotton lined gusset. I love the retro styling of these briefs, and the stretch lace insets add a nice feminine touch. To complete my lingerie fashionista (Lbloggers) outfit of the day I paired the Rago Shapewear black lace-trim shaper briefs with a contrasting Elementz Women's Plus-Size Three-Quarter-Sleeve Sequined Eyelash Ruffle Top in Soft Candle Yellow from Macy's.
I took this first photo of the black Rago shapewear brief shortly after making the YouTube video. In retrospect I should have either taken the photos of my different outfits just before I posed in them for the OOTD photos and videotaped lingerie reviews, or else delayed photographing the separate briefs and blouses until after I'd washed them the next day. Unfortunately some of the white body powder I use clung to the stitching around the leg holes of the black panty brief and is visible in the first photo. Oops! Oh well. I'm too lazy to take another photo of them and will simply leave that photo in this post as a blooper-pic.:
I misspoke in this video - the colour of the Elementz ruffle sequin top, which I bought from Macy's and styled in this OOTD, is named "Soft Candle". I happened to buy the Rago Style 919 Shaper Panty Brief from HerRoom but it is available from other retailers as well. It would have showcased the vintage look, and retro-style tailoring of these panty briefs much better had I purchased a larger size.

On Rago's website, the fabric of the RAGO Style 919 - Light Shaping Panty Brief is listed as being made of 85% Nylon, 15% invista Lycra. The colours currently listed on Rago's site are White, Beige, Black, Pink and Red.
Rago makes high waisted shapewear panties as well which have a waist-cinching effect. As you can see in my customer lingerie review video I could use some shaping of my quite out-of-shape waistline.

If you are reading this it means I finally got around to posting a review of Shimera Seamless Full Briefs in Pink Beauty. It's closing in on one year since I purchased them from Nordstrom, on sale, in late January of 2013. These briefs are currently being advertised as having a fabric composition of 90% nylon, 9% spandex, and 1% cotton. The briefs I male-modeled for this customer lingerie review said 91% nylon, 7% spandex, and 2 percent other. Though I don't see the colour Pink Beauty on the Nordstrom website as I'm typing this. I do see Shimera Seamless Briefs listed in the colours Pink Rose, Pink Plumier, and Pink Fairytale.
Quoting from Dressbarn's webpage about the blouse: "This floaty peasant top becomes even more feminine with lacy blossoms and embroidery. Tonal lace applique with embroidered border on front only. Ruffled cuffs, neckline and hem. Slightly textured fabric. Imported"

In person the blouse looks very blue. Unfortunately my photos didn't do justice to the actual in-person colours of either the blouse or the panty.
For some reason the blue colour of this peasant blouse looks green instead of blue in the first photo. In the second and third photos the colours look faded, whereas in person both the pink and the blue are fairly vibrant. When I made this video I failed to mention the fact that the colour of these Shimera Seamless Full Briefs lived up to their name, 'PINK BEAUTY'. I decided that styling the blue peasant blouse with them in my Lbloggers OOTD would make a pretty contrast. I'm sure many women would like wearing the Shimera Seamless Full Brief Panty due to the looks and comfort. The pretty feminine pink colour and comfort of this panty are enough to make them a welcome addition to my panty drawer. I happened to buy the Shimera Briefs from Nordstrom and bought the blouse I styled them with from Dressbarn.
For me looks, comfort, and soft slippery feel against sensitive skin are each important in a panty. Do you buy briefs for looks? For comfort? for Feel? For all three? I'm still searching for the perfect panties with the best of all three attributes.

Here's a photo of some of the blouses and full briefs I've purchased with the intent of reviewing in blog posts and videos but haven't gotten around to yet followed by a list of some of the brands and styles of the briefs in the photo.
Two of the blouses I ordered to complement the briefs turned out to be unavailable and the colours of a couple of them turned out to be a bit darker than expected. I's taking longer than I thought to decide which briefs to style with which blouse and vice versa and looking like I might have to buy even more blouses and briefs to get the complementary colour contrasts I'm looking for in my lingerie fashionista outfits.

Here's some lingerie news I meant to mention in blog posts before now but hadn't:
Back at the end on April there was a post by @MsEmilyMcCombs the Executive Editor of xojane.com which proclaimed in all capital letters "I POST PICTURES OF MYSELF IN MY UNDERWEAR" which, as proclaimed, featured a photo of herself (a selfie) in black full brief panties and a matching bra. The article closed by stating: "I show you mine and welcome you to show me yours. And God willing, I'll continue to avoid the feedback." Unbelievably I never commented or contacted Emily or xojane - but very belatedly, kudos to xojane's Ms Emily McCombs for her bravery. I think the photo she posted of herself is lovely. Since I also post pictures of myself in my underwear it seemed very appropriate to give Ms McCombs an honorable mention and post a link to xojane.com here.

On July 2nd, 2013 there was a Huffington Post article by Lauren Leibowitz titled: "Pick Your Panties: What Does Your Underwear Say About You?(PHOTOS)" You'd think I would have at least made a comment on that one. The article states that wearing "High-waisted granny panties:" means "You're retro at heart." I loved the photos.

Fortunately I got to read a couple of articles or watch videos from some of these lingerie events. LingerieFW - YouTube uploaded some videos from Lingerie Fashion Week in NYC including one titled "Dita Von Teese Introduces Secrets in Lace at LingerieFW SS14". I love the look of the vintage style full coverage panties from Secrets In Lace , the delightful vintage style lingerie, and all the rest of the videos too. The Lingerie Journal, was there covering Lingerie FW SS14, including lingerie brands like Bradelis (YouTube), Lola Haze, Uye Surana, Rococo Dessous, Nais, Nevaeh Intimates, Secrets in Lace, You! Lingerie, NOE Undergarments and Affinitas + Parfait. I wonder how many lingerie fashion shows I've missed out on reading about or viewing this year? I love lingerie!

On September 2nd there was an article in the blog Lingerie Talk @LingerieTalk on Twitter) titled: "AP Bites The Hand That Fetes It ". Richard of Lingerie Talk embedded Agent Provocateur's recent racy and controversial video
Several YouTube news Channels uploaded the short (1:56) Mail Online video of a briefs portion of an interview with Paloma Faith at the Burberry fashion show at London Fashion Week all having the same video title. Two of them were:
YouTube user Burberry uploaded a brief video titled The Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S14 Show Highlights - shot entirely with iPhone 5s and on Set. 17th, 2013 uploaded a video titled: "Full Show - Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S14 - shot entirely with iPhone 5s". The video features a large number of see-through dresses. Quoting Burberry: "Celebrating rich British fabrics and expert craftsmanship, the Spring/Summer 2014 runway features intricate English lace and Scottish knitted cashmere in vibrant pastels and soft powdery hues". Though I could see Paloma Faith in the front row of the show I didn't see the heart print briefs. I thought many of the Burberry fashions were very pretty and there were some pretty looking full briefs visible through the dresses. The main reservation I had about the show was that I think using too many overly skinny models sends a bad message to young fashionistas and may encourage eating disorders.
There will be more lingerie events coming up as well. I wonder how many more lingerie and full brief panty events I will have FAILED to participate in, news I lingerie news I will FAIL to cover, videos and photos I will FAIL to take, post and write about in these last four months of the year?
An unpublished lingerie review I did back in January:
Another blog post I hadn't gotten around to posting included photos and a customer lingerie review video of myself male-modeling a pink pair of Pink K Women's Nylon Briefs from Kmart. I'd taken the photos and video back on 4 January 2013 but I still haven't uploaded the video to my YouTube, Mister Panty Buns's Channel. My excuse for not uploading the lingerie review video back at the time I made it was that in the video I referred to the panties as Pink brand pink panties. After I'd made the video I saw that they were clearly marked "Pink K" on the tag. Pink K brand is unrelated to Victoria's Secret PINK brand panties, which I have yet to purchase, wear, and review. Good grief! You'd think I would at least get the name of the brand of panties I'm reviewing right when I actually have them on, but noooooo.... I had forgotten what the package said back when I bought them in the store and then I missed the "K" in Pink K when I read the tag. Yes, I actually bought these panties in-store instead of being lazy and buying them on line. The fabric is not as slippery and silky-soft as a couple of other panties I've worn such as Vanity Fair Ravissant or Shadowline classic briefs. but they do feel good against my skin. I'm holding back my complete assessment of the way they feel and fit until I purchase the size that's right for me.
To complete my January 4th OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) I styled the Pink K brand pink nylon full briefs with a Green Surplice Peplum top from JCPenney in the colour "Green Appletini".

In the United States of America July Fourth is "Independence Day", supposedly a celebration of a greater liberty than was guaranteed under the Magna Carta. Now it seems we have even less. The guarantees of the right to Habeas Corpus and prohibitions against Ex Post Facto laws have been decimated. The Declaration of Independence states in part that we are endowed by our creator "...with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
There was great debate over whether or not to have a Bill of Rights, with the primary argument against it being that people would claim rights were limited to those listed. That concern was addressed by including the Ninth Amendment which stated: "The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people". Thus, the right of privacy was deemed to be implied by the Fourth Amendment - a right and an Amendment that has been shredded, trampled on, ignored, and viewed with disdain by those currently holding office at all levels of government in the United States of America, the States, their counties, municipalities, the Courts, and by all levels of "law enforcement". They have all violated their oaths of office, encouraged illegal searches, eavesdropping, surveillance, and suppression of the truth about their unpatriotic, unconstitutional and illegal authoritarian actions. The words "the people" were not referring to prosecutors or town attorneys - they were referring to the every day citizens who all too often are arrested and prosecuted for exercising their inalienable rights. Compounding this outrage is the fact that the allegedly "free" press is all too often bought, censored, and silenced.
THE FOURTH AMENDMENT:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
This Fourth of July there is a movement to Restore the Fourth Amendment.
I know the subject of this post WAY is off topic for this blog, but it bothers me to see police roadblock checkpoints where the police are invading the privacy of every single motorist and to know the government is listening in on our phone calls and monitoring our internet activities.
The National Anthem asks: "Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" Apparently not.

Originally I had been planning a large post titled "5 Shades of Pink" and was going to include this review. I am way behind, and though I've ordered some more full briefs and blouses to male-model and review, there is now way I would have had such a large post done this month. Sorry this one is so late and short.
How do you feel about inexpensive but comfortable full-coverage "Granny Panties"? Though I like the comfort I was disappointed at how little colour they have in them. They're a very pale pastel pink. What do you think of the look and colour of these nylon full brief panties?
These are some of the slightly more high end briefs I've reviewed so far although they are still relatively inexpensive compared to some other high-end lingerie fashion brands like Agent Provocateur. They cost me $28 per pair plus tax, shipping and handling and are well worth the price from my own personal point of view. I initially ordered two pairs, but was so delighted with the feminine look, full cut and wonderful feel of these panties that I ordered and received three more pairs in peach. I find them to be delightful to look at and to wear. There are two tags inside the briefs. One tag reads:
This photo of the pretty satin bow and two gorgeous vertical lace insets that run from the waistband to top front of the left leg hole of the panty doesn't really do it justice but I never post front views of myself male-modeling panties - so here's a phot of the briefs by themselves.
The following lingerie review video of Dollhouse Bettie Retro 50s High Waist Satin Panties was a second take. The first take had poor lighting and was perhaps over-exuberant in declaring these briefs to be the "perfect panty". This second take was less wordy, shorter, and had better lighting than my first attempt at a customer video review of these high-waist briefs but unfortunately the camera was aimed too low so my head was out of the picture a lot. I also forgot to say anything about the black round neck batwing sleeve sequin top that I had paired with the high-waisted satin briefs I was reviewing in the video.
Since it's taken way too long for me to get around to making a third attempt I decided to just go ahead and upload the second take instead of trying again. I was also discouraged by an email from YouTube. Haters have been false-flagging videos I made OVER THREE YEARS AGO! It's such a shame that YouTube lets haters and trolls have such influence. If it continues maybe they should re-name it "TrollTube".

Some panties, especially pinup panties, are now being made with the gusset being made of a different coloured fabric from the front and/or rear panel(s) of the panty. Have you window-shopped many pairs of knickers that feature the gusset as an attractive style component of the panty? Are retro style high-waisted full cut briefs a part of your lingerie wardrobe? The tailoring of these panties is considerably larger at the hips than at the waist, so while to me they felt wonderful they were still a bit on the tight side at the waist. If you have a small waist you would find these undies to be quite roomy for their stated size, but if your waist is considerably larger you may want the next size up.
